Don't bother with individual stocks

If you're looking to invest in a stock and then not checking it again, don't invest in individual stocks. Unless you're just investing on a hunch for shits and giggles, it's better to just invest in the market as a whole through ETFs. Individual stocks are exposed to something called Idiosyncratic Risk. Even Isaac Newton couldn't predict the market.
